Here is sample cartography from The Map Shop's Tri-State Wall Map. It comes in two sizes:  36" high by 44" long and 50" high by 62" long.. The index to this map complete with grid co-ordinates, central zip-codes of cities, population, and latitude and longitudes can be found on this website.   Look at the "overview map" to get a better idea of how good the map really looks. The detail on thie Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina map is terrific. In addition to showing lots of small towns, it also shows the geographic coverage of each town in gray. Look at Orangeburg below to see an example.
