This takes you back to the wall maps home page wall map order entry screens Ask us a question or tell us your opinion of our site Spring rollers are the classic way in which wall maps are shown in a classroom. We use only the sturdiest mechanisms designed to withstand years of classroom use. Just about any map on our site can be special ordered on rollers. Most of the maps shown on our classroom page come with spring rollers already mounted. The exceptions are clearly noted on the individual page.   For non-classroom maps, this adds about 2 weeks to the leadtime. We can normally mount  maps up to 84" wide on this mechanism. As shown in the picture below the roller mechanism includes includes brackets and if ordered "classroom style" includes a C-shaped channel that runs the length of the map. This channel or "backboard" is used to hang the roller mechanism on hooks above a whiteboard or to slide into a multi-map rack. The rack allows a classroom or boardroom to have multiple maps to pull down, one in front of the other. See more details on spring rollers and add them to your map
If the roller mount is not included on the map in which you are interested, call us at 800-532-6675  to place a special order. We can mount almost any map on a roller. The picture below shows the TerraNova classroom combo map mounted on rollers.    Return to Classroom maps              Return to Wall Maps.
