Big Roller Mounting Strip Here is an overview of the map mounting for holding LARGE spring roller wall maps. All the spring roller maps we sell come standard with a metal "back board". This metal channel runs the length of the map and serves two purposes. First, It is a firm and solid mounting for the roller brackets. Second, this optional metal channel has  slides with pins that stick up as you can see on the map rack below. The result is a rail system that lets you mount the big roller maps of different widths. This is a truly versatile system and using solid steel construction, built for years of heavy classroom use. There's cork in the middle in case you need to pin other things up there when you're not using the map. The rail portion measures 84" long.

First mount the steel&cork strip, then clip on the sliders->
Slide them over and get them ready to line up with the holes in the massive back-rail of the roller assembly
